In keeping with JFB’s mission, the Scholarship Fund has been raising money and awarding scholarships to local area law students to help defray the cost of law school tuition. Please join with us in those efforts by making a donation to the Scholarship fund. Donations are tax deductible and any amount would be appreciated. Checks should be made payable to:

The J. Franklyn Bourne Scholarship Fund will also name one of its annual scholarships for Past-President Sallie E. Williams. This scholarship is dedicated to a student pursuing law as a second profession.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARDEES
Applicants for the Scholarship Fund awards are evaluated for cash scholarships up to $1,500.00 according to the following criteria:

• Service to Community and School
• Quality of Essay
• Academic Achievements
• Financial Need
• Strength of Recommendations
