JUDGE DAWSON'S SEAFOOD FEAST 2009

At the beginning of my term, Judge Dawson made a personal commitment to me that he would assist me in every way possible to ensure increased membership, including holding a Membership Drive. Once again, Judge Dawson’s membership drive/seafood feast was a tremendous success. Attendance was overwhelming. Many members of the judiciary, as well as state and local government leaders were in attendance. The greater success of the event, was the submission of 40 new applicants to the Association. Judge Dawson has always been committed to this Association and promoting the tenets thereof. A very special thank you to Judge Dawson, his wife Paula, and his law clerk Erin McCoy for all of their hard work. Many thanks also to John Scruggs, husband of our treasurer Bridgett Greer, for his assistance in preparing the food. A great time was had by all!

Calling all members, past and present, seasoned or new, or anyone looking for a quality Bar Association to join, Judge Herman C. Dawson, Sr., will be hosting one of his famous back yard Seafood Feast to launch JFB’s 2007 Membership Drive Campaign.

Join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. Friday, April 27, 2007 from 6-8:30 pm at the residence of Judge Dawson. Please RSVP to Kamilah House at 301-952-3676 by April 18th.

Judge Dawson’s get-togethers are truly special events. They are always well-attended by members of both the bench and the bar. This is a true benefit of membership.
